The journey began several years ago when my neighbor had his windows and siding installed by Mr. Cahill. We met with Mr. Cahill ourselves to undergo a massive restoration to our own home after hurricane storm damage. Mr. Cahill was professional, patient, and answered all of our questions in detail. He gave us many suggestions for lighting options, and movement of outlets to serve a more conducive location for outdoor entertaining. His crew of employees are prompt, courteous, and hard working. Our first experience in renovation was a very positive one, thanks to Tim Cahill and his crew. We recently purchased an older home in Middletown/Navesink which desperately needed roofing and siding replacements. We wanted to maintain the character of the older home, and were also concerned about the potential damage the weathered roof and siding could have caused. Our inspector recommended Tim and his crew. Tim addressed both the health and the appearance of the house in a very effective manner, and more.
First off, I called numerous contractors in order to get a grip as to the cost and options available. Tim was the only contractor who offered to meet us at the house at our convenience. He looked over the house with us, reviewed options, took measurements, and got back to us quickly with a very fair estimate – not to mention he made himself available for our numerous follow-up questions.
There was only one unforeseen expense in the process, which Tim called me about immediately. Otherwise, the job was carried out without a hitch, and quite efficiently with a very amiable crew. The clean-up was great. We decided to knock down an interior wall, which Tim arranged to have done as well. Finally, Tim recommended a very fair-priced and excellent painter who we used for an interior room, who we are planning to use again; as well as a wonderful electrician.
We would not hesitate to recommend Tim to anyone looking to improve their home, and definitely plan on using him ourselves for any future work.
